...we are talking more and more each day. He's quite the talker, except when we put him on the phone.
He loves to please his mom and dad and is quite proud of himself when he responds to the often stated, "Maddox I need you to obey...."
He loves reading books and could hear "Chicka, Chicka Boom, Boom" 100 times a day and not tire of it. Other favorites include "If you give a pig a pancake", "A Pirate ABC", "Curious George", "Cat in the Hat", "Hop on Pop", "There's a Wocket In My Pocket", and he still loves "How Does a Dinosaur Eat His Food". He laughs at the same page every time we read it..."Does a dinosaur GLARE?" He can identify almost all of his letters. Nature and Nurture are both playing their roles here...Bret also knew his alphabet at about this age and Maddox has been read Chicka, Chicka more times than I can count. He also loves tv and asks for Sesame Street daily! As for superheros he's a Spiderman ("miderman") fan.
He still puts EVERYTHING in his mouth (just today's list...dirt, sidewalk chalk, pool water, napkins, bath water, toes, hands...)!
He's a super sweet boy and loves snuggling, hugging, and holding hands.
Basketball is his favorite sport and he points out all the goals in the neighborhood when we go on walks. He loves his friends and enjoys making new friends. At the park today he said hi to the new child approaching the play area ten times before they were even in hearing distance. Then he left what he was playing on and ran over to greet her. I just love, love, love spending my days with our sweet son and am so thankful for Bret who is such a great husband and dad!
